    General FAQ's

    Is there parking?

    Parking is monitored by licence plate recognition. You must either enter your registration number plate at the venue on their parking tablet located adjacent to reception or you can do it directly online here. Once you have completed your registration you will then have all day access (7am-10pm) to the section of the car park outside our building.

    Please note the above does not include the Greggs and Costa parking section, if you are to park within this section you will only have 1.5 hour parking and are liable to receive a ticket. Parking at Antelope Business Park is managed externally. We accept no responsibility for parking management or charges incurred.

     

    Are there any age restrictions?

    We have age restrictions of 0 to 12 years of age in WonderWorld Soft Play. Some of our equipment is only suitable for certain age groups such as; you must be 4 years or older to use our Volcano Slide and Tubby Slide. Please familiarise yourself with our rules prior to participation. Please note that no adults are permitted on the Volcano slide. Signage is visible throughout the venue and playframe.

    Can I bring my own food to WonderWorld?

    Only food purchased in the premises is allowed to be consumed within the venue. We do not allow food purchased from outside the venue to be consumed onsite. Baby food is excluded from this restriction. Customers who are seen to consume food out with this will be requested to put their food away until they exit the venue. Please refrain from brining nuts to the premises as we are a nut free site.

    We do have a fantastic café, with delicious cakes & treats, refreshing coffee & drinks and a wide selection of hot and cold food to choose from.

    Can I leave my child in the venue to play?

    No. As we are an unsupervised soft play, we require children to be supervised by an adult aged 18 or older at all times. If you are the only adult accompanying a child/children to the soft play, you cannot leave the premises. If you wish to leave the premise you will need to bring the child/children with you.

    Can I heat baby’s food in the venue?

    Yes! Our café team are more than happy to provide facilities to heat baby food.

    Can I use my WonderWorld gift card/voucher at any venue location?

    No, you must use your gift card/voucher in the venue it was issued. Gift cards/vouchers expire 12 months after the issue date.

    Do I need to book in advance?

    You do not need to book in advance, however it is strongly recommended to secure your space and avoid disappointment on the day. Walk-ins are welcome but if the venue is at full capacity we will not be able to allow entry to the venue.

    What is your refund/cancellation policy?

    General session bookings cannot be cancelled but can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. To reschedule, please contact Customer Services at 0238 100 1110 or email [email protected]

    Party Group bookings cancelled within 4 weeks of the party date will result in the forfeit of 50% of your full payment (unless you wish to reschedule). Cancelling within 24hrs of your party will result in a forfeit of 100% of full payment (unless you wish to reschedule).

    What time should I arrive for my session?

    During our off-peak mid-week sessions, you can arrive up to 5 minutes early to your entry time and entry can be immediate depending on current capacity.

    During weekends and school holidays we ask that you arrive no earlier than 10-15 minutes before your session time. Due to capacity we will be unable to allow entry to the venue before your allocated session time

    We ask that you have your booking confirmation ready upon arrival to the venue/reception.

    Can my child wear glasses?

    Of course! It is very important to us that everyone feels comfortable and can see clearly. Please keep in mind that loose articles such as glasses may fall off during play.

    What do I wear?

    We recommend wearing light and comfortable clothing to get the most out of your experience. Long sleeved tops and trousers are recommended to avoid friction burns on exposed skin. Please avoid nylon/synthetic clothing as this material is susceptible for friction burns/tearing, this includes football tops and sportswear.

    Socks must be worn at all times. Bare feet and shoes are not permitted on the playframe by children and adults. Gripper socks are not required, but if you forget to bring socks with you, you can purchase socks at the venue.

    Before entering the play areas, please remove all jewellery, be mindful that glasses may fall off during play.

    What allergies can you cater for?

    We have gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and halal options available. You can view our current allergen list by scanning the QR codes at the venue or by clicking the following link here.  Please ask a member of staff if you have any specific questions on allergens. Please note that only food purchased onsite is permitted to be consumed at the venue, with the exception of baby food.

    Do you have a dedicated room for breastfeeding?

    We don’t have a specific room for breastfeeding, but we do welcome breastfeeding onsite.

    Party FAQ's

    What time will I arrive for my party?

    Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your party begins. Head straight to our party queue at reception, where your dedicated party host will be waiting to greet you.

    Can I bring my own cake to my party?

    Yes you can, although we do require allergen information contents of the cake. Please note, NO nuts are permitted on the cake. Your birthday cake CANNOT be consumed on-site, your party host will be able to divide the cake and put them into the party bags for your guests to take home.

    We are a nut free venue.

    Can I bring candles for my birthday party?

    Normal candles are allowed, but we do not allow sparkler candles due to smoke that releases from these candles which can set off our smoke detectors.

    Can I bring helium balloons to my party?

    Yes, of course! However these must be attached to a weight and brought into the venue in a bag. They must stay inside your party room for the entire duration of the event and taken home after your party ends.

    Can I decorate my party room?

    No, unfortunately, we don’t allow decorations to our party rooms as certain decorations can cause damage to our walls and furniture.

    Can I bring more children to my event that I booked?

    We can only accommodate extra children if we have sufficient space in the party room, however we require a minimum of 48 hours notice to make any additions to your booking. Any additional children must be paid for at least 48 hours in advance of the party.

    Can I bring my own food to a party?

    If you wish to bring your own birthday cake we require allergen information contents of the cake before your party and cakes should NOT contain any nuts. We do not allow the cake to be eaten onsite, but your party host will be able to divide the cake and put them into the party bags for your guests to take home.

    Can I create a tab?

    Unfortunately we can’t setup tabs, but we do offer an adult’s food buffet and drinks package that can be added onto your party booking up to 48 hours prior to your event. If you would like to add this to your party booking please contact our customer service team by calling 0238 100 1110 or emailing [email protected].

    Can we stay in our party room for longer than 30 minutes?

    We cannot allow you to stay in the party room for longer than your allocated time due to other parties booked in after your session.

    Do you offer vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free or vegetarian options?

    We can accommodate most allergies and dietary requirements. Our menu includes vegan pizzas, vegan nuggets, chips, and vegan cheese sandwiches, along with gluten-free alternatives.

    How many adults can attend a party?

    For parties, we allow up to one parent per child (excluding the birthday child, who we allow 4 spectators for). We can reserve a table of 15 for guests attending the party and there is also additional seating throughout the venue.

    Is the birthday child included in the total party numbers?

    Yes, the birthday child must be included in the total party guests. Our minimum is 10 guests and this includes the birthday child.

    What is included in the party bags?

    Our party bags include a colouring book, a packet of crayons, a fidget popper toy, and a fun slinky all wrapped up nice and neatly in a WonderWorld party bag to easily take home.

    We also have Deluxe Party bag available which includes a colouring pencil set, a bigger colouring & activity book, a fidget popper toy, fun slinky, and a frisbee carried in a drawstring bag for comfortability for your guests to bring home. You can also upgrade your party to include slushees, sweetie bags or WonderWorld socks for every guest.     What happens after the party?

    All participants must be collected within 10 minutes of the party ending to ensure a smooth pickup and minimise congestion in the reception area.

    Group Bookings FAQ's

    Can I hire the venue exclusively?

    Yes, you can with our exclusive hire package. Enjoy exclusive private access to all of our facilities and equipment for 2 hours for up to 340 guests. Food is not included but available to purchase on the day at our café or you can look to discuss food options with our events team. To book our exclusive hire group package for your school, team or group or to discuss further event details please email [email protected].

    What are the maximum and minimum number of guests for a group booking?

    WonderWorld Southampton can hold a maximum of 275 guests, but we do require a minimum of 30 guests to be booked for our group bookings and exclusive hires. Maximum of 10 children to 1 adult.

    Is food included in my group booking package?

    Our Food and Fun group package is the only group booking package that includes food. This package is for 120 minutes in our soft play including a hot meal for your guests. Our hot meal options include: Chicken Nuggets and Chips and/or Fish Fingers and Chips and unlimited cordial juice.

    Allergen free, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available. Please detail any dietary requirements on your group booking form attached to your booking confirmation email.

    How do I make changes to my group booking?
